The history of the original Holland Land Company go back to 1789, when four Dutch investment firms sent an agent to the United States in search of investment opportunities. As more investors joined the original four, they eventually merged into one stock company, and so the Holland Land Company was formed on November 20, 1795. The entrepreneurial and pioneering spirit of the original Holland Land Company was the inspiration for Holland Services. A family owned and operated business for over thirty years, Holland Services began as Holland Acquisitions in the Appalachian Basin. Through the years, Holland Acquisitions developed into a full land service company known as Holland Services. No matter what the name, Holland has always prided itself on providing personal, prompt and professional services to all of its clients.
